WE CAME, WE SAW AND WE CONQUERED……!!! Graduates from Beauty – Nails

The Bienvenu Shelter for Migrant, Refugee and the most vulnerable women in the community celebrated the graduation ceremony of Beauty-nails course on August 23, 2023 at the Mother Assunta Training Centre where twenty-two students graduated. The highest number of students were from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The collaboration and presence of Pastoral Care for Migrants and Refugees (Archdiocese of Johannesburg) with ANOVA, who accompanied us throughout this journey which was celebrated jointly.

As they conclude their course successfully, we recognize their hard work and achievement by awarding certificates on the graduation day. During the ceremony they presented themselves in formal graduation attire with beautifully decorated nails making them rightly the focus of the day.

Having healthy, colourful and creative nails gives them more self-confidence and boosts their self-esteem. During this journey of three months, they learned how to be the carrier of self-confidence and self-esteem and also how to correct the imperfections in nails as well as in their lives. At the end of this chapter they find different ways to be self-sustained with dignity for a better tomorrow.

Congratulations to our new Graduates!!! Best wishes for your bright future ahead!!!

Bienvenu Shelter is grateful to all our collaborators and donors for their generosity, our teachers for their commitment and dedication, and to the Team for their continuous effort, support and guidance.
