The blessing of the Mother Assunta Training Centre, an extension of Bienvenu Shelter, took place on 14 November. Mass was celebrated by the Auxiliary Bishop Duncan Tsoke, Archdiocese of Johannesburg.
After blessing the centre, Auxillary Bishop Duncan and dear donors, Christien and Heilmich Hietink and David Costine from Round Table 63, Edenvale, cut the ribbon and officially opened the house. The event was also attended by the General Consul of the Italian Consulate, His Excellency Doctor Marco Petacco, donors, friends, staff and beneficiaries.
