Last Friday, May 23rd, Bienvenu Shelter welcomed a group from Caixa Bank for a beautiful day spent with the children of our Crèche.
During the visit, the team prepared a large traditional paella lunch for all the children. Throughout the morning, the Shelter was full of conversation, delicious smells and excitable curious little faces watching the food being prepared.
For some of the children, it was the first time tasting paella. Lunch quickly became more than just a shared meal, it was a moment of encounter, laughter and cultural exchange around the table with many of the children saying was their birthdays as it was a celebratory day.
At Bienvenu Shelter, these gestures mean a lot to our community. Beyond the practical support, visits like this bring a sense of care and human connection that remains long after the day is over.
