We were so delighted to once again welcome our dearest Christine. Our dear friend visited us from 29 August to 8 September 2026, and we were so grateful to have her with us.
For many years, our dear friend and donor has walked alongside Bienvenu Shelter, providing faithful support, guidance, and encouragement to our mission. Having her back with us in Johannesburg was a deeply moving experience that reaffirmed the strong bonds of love, trust, and shared dreams that unite us as we continue with the mission of assisting migrant and refugee women and their children to better their lives.
One of the highlights was an outing with the children from our Creche on Thursday, 3 September. Special thanks to Fr Jean-Marie for once again welcoming us so warmly; the children have really enjoyed the day.
A heartfelt thank you once again to Christine for always visiting us. We are always proud to have you by our side. We truly felt you close to our hearts with your presence among the team, for continuing to give us hope, and we will carry this feeling for always.
