Bienvenu Shelter successfully convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Mother Assunta Training Center, bringing together Board of Directors, management, staff, volunteers, donors and stakeholders, to review the past year’s achievements and outline future strategies. The meeting, held in Kensington, marked a pivotal moment for the Organization as it continues its commitment of serving the most marginalized migrant and refugee women and children.
During the AGM, Minutes of previous AGM was adopted, Greetings by the Director, Chairperson’s Report, the annual financial Statement for the past year was presented and approved. The Auditor was reappointed. The operational report from the Management was presented, including a power point showing the activities in pictures and future planning for the upcoming year was unveiled.
“We are incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made over the past year, and the dedication of our Team and the continuous and generous support from our dear donors and friends has been instrumental in our success,” said the Director. Our achievements in 2024, are a testament to our collective commitment.
As we look forward to another productive year ahead, the needs of migrant and refugee women and children continue to grow. Our commitment to them is our priority, and with this, we will aim to further enhance the project, innovate service delivery and advocate even more strongly for their rights to be heard. We will continue in empowering individuals and communities, ensuring that every woman and child have the opportunity to thrive.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for open dialogue and collaboration, fostering a sense of shared purpose among attendees.
