Magdalena – a much treasured donor from Germany and a life line to so many vulnerable women and children during the pandemic – visited the Bienvenu Shelter and the Mother Assunta Training Centre from the 26 – 28 of March 2024.
Magdalena was warmly welcomed to the Shelter with songs performed by Staff and Residents and especially enjoyed her time in the creche and baby room where she received much love and hugs from all the little ones. Magdalena visited 6 ex-residents at home and she was warmly welcomed. An emotional experience of the realities in which our mothers and children struggle day to day.
During her visit to the Training Centre, she met with Management and Staff and learned more about the ongoing projects and those proposed as well as the various training courses offered to and undertaken by the students. Magdalena was accompanied by the Beauty teacher ad driver to see students whom graduated and are now generating income through skills learned.
