Invited by REPSSI, two Staff member from Bienvenu Shelter, the Social Worker and Creche Teacher, participated on a 5-day training of Master Trainers held from 31 March to 4th and 8th April, 2025 at Sandton Lodge in Rivonia, Johannesburg.
The training focused on capacity building of duty bearers to be able to support children and youth in migration which is a starting point, leading to awareness, discussion, and action by various organizations engaged on migration community work.
This initiative is building the capacity of social service providers to effectively respond and protect the most vulnerable during their journey and empower children and youth to enhance their psychosocial wellbeing.
Regional Psychosocial Support Initiative – REPSSI provides interventions that promote mental health and psychosocial wellbeing of children and young people in East and Southern Africa.
Thank you REPSSI for the opportunity to work in collaboration in assisting migrant children and women.
