Empowering Women, One Skill at a Time

We proudly celebrated the graduation of 10 talented women from our latest baking course!

Held on August 24, 2026, at the Mother Assunta Training Centre, the graduation ceremony marked the culmination of months of dedication, hands-on learning, and hard work. For these women, receiving their certificates is not just about mastering culinary skills—it represents a powerful step forward toward personal independence, self-reliance, and a brighter future.

The baking program is one of Bienvenu Shelter’s most popular and impactful empowerment initiatives. Designed to be accessible and practical, the course equips students with essential, easy-to-learn recipes requiring minimal capital to start.

In addition to the baking instructions, the course integrates basic business skills, teaching the women how to price their goods, market to the informal sector, and generate an independent income to support their families.

We extend our warmest congratulations to all graduates and wish them much success in their future endeavours!

A heartfelt thank you to our dear donors for making this possible!
