Developing Skills, Building Futures: Women Graduate from the Training Centre

On 9 December, the Training Centre celebrated an important milestone as 51 women successfully graduated from the livelihood training programmes. This graduation marked one of the largest celebrations to date, reflecting the growing  urge to become empowered and the increasing number of women choosing to invest in their skills and future.

The graduates completed courses in sewing, baking, hairdressing, makeup, nails. Together, these programmes offer practical skills that open pathways to employment, self-reliance, and small business opportunities.

The graduation ceremony was a moment of shared pride and emotion. Surrounded by staff, volunteers, families, and fellow participants, the women received their certificates in an atmosphere marked by joy, gratitude, and confidence.

Many women spoke about the welcoming environment they found at the Training Centre, describing it as a space that felt like a family, open, supportive, and always available to listen and help. These testimonies highlighted how learning at the Training Centre goes beyond technical training, fostering trust, encouragement, and a strong sense of belonging.

The Bienvenu Shelter remains committed to accompanying them as they take their next steps toward autonomy, stability, and self-determination.
