On Thursday 18 January 2024, the Bienvenu Shelter Staff Team, held the first meeting of the new year, entitled to “Welcome to 2024”.
It was heart-warming that an almost full complement of staff members and volunteers attended and were warmly welcomed by Management and one another.
The meeting comprised of the Board Chair and the Director who, together, opened the meeting with Prayers and motivational talks on various topics relating to the mission of the Shelter.
The Training was carried out by professional Labour Consultants who presented all aspects of the Basic Terms and Conditions of Employment and the team was encouraged to discuss and ask questions which were answered in detail.
Lunch, which was enjoyed by all, was followed by a Staff Meeting wherein Management shared pertinent information with regard to the challenges and achievements of 2023 and what we can look forward to in 2024.
This was the beginning and positive start to 2024 and we are looking forward to serving more women, children and students.
