The South African Women’s Day on 9 August 2024 at Bienvenu Shelter was celebrated in style by our Mammas in the House.
They received an abundance of gifts, ranging from toiletries to make-up to hair accessories to stationery and were absolutely delighted. They also participated in a meditation session – a first, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all – and their children received colouring books and crayons and sweets.
A really HUGE and grateful THANK YOU to our dear donors who came from far and wide to ensure that this day was extra special to these Women, most of whom have undergone some form of trauma in their lives.
The generosity put beautiful smiles on our Mammas faces and restored their faith in that there truly are good people in our world.
